Now is a great time to reach out to Chris. Year-end is when owners set next year's IT budget, line up renewals and review cyber insurance, and Chris is building his Mid-Atlantic calendar right now.

The cost of going it alone

Most IT problems are found the expensive way

A breach, a failed backup or a bad purchase rarely shows up on a budget line. It shows up as a week of downtime, a denied claim or a contract you cannot get out of. Flip the switch and see the same six situations two ways.

A full-time equivalent, without the hire

One hire gets you one person. We bring the whole bench.

An in-house IT person is often the right instinct and the wrong structure: one skill set, one set of hours, and a single point of failure when they are on vacation or move on. Activity3 works as your IT department, with Chris as the person who knows your business.

Meet Chris. Your one call for IT.

Chris Sobon has spent more than three decades in client-facing roles across communications and technology, and has worked alongside Activity3's founder for nearly 35 of them.

He is known for the same few things wherever he has worked: he takes the time to understand how a client's environment actually runs before he recommends anything, he brings creative answers across a wide range of technologies, and he finishes what he promises down to the small details. Clients describe partnerships with Chris as ones where both sides come out ahead, and the people who have worked with him say the same thing more simply: everybody trusts him.

His style is consultative. He will sit down with you, listen, and leave you with a one-page brochure and a scope of work with a fixed price on it, so you can see exactly what you are buying and decide on your own schedule. No bundles you did not ask for. No multi-year commitment to get started. If something about your IT has been nagging at you, now is a great time to call him.

One view of every IT dollar, every renewal date and every tool your people signed up for on their own.

Two-minute IT check

How exposed is your business today?

Ten questions an owner should be able to answer without calling anyone. Answer honestly; nothing is sent anywhere. Each "no or not sure" points to the engagement that closes it.

Fifteen fixed-fee engagements

Pick what you need. Build your own plan.

Every engagement has a one-page brochure, a one-page scope of work and a fixed price, sized for companies of 25 to 75 users. Add any combination to your plan and send it to Chris.

Not sure where to start? Now is a great time to ask Chris. Tell him what is bothering you and he will point you to the one or two engagements that matter most.

The Activity3 promise

You run the business. We'll run the IT.

Our goal is simple: IT that sets you apart from your competitors instead of holding you back, with minimum security and best practices in place from day one, and one person who knows your name when you call.

Six stories owners will recognize

Each case study walks through the situation, what going it alone was costing, what we found and what changed. Two pages each, ready to send.

Straight answers

Before you call

Why reach out now?

Year-end is when most owners set next year's IT budget and face renewals for software, carriers and cyber insurance. A fixed-fee engagement now gives you real findings to plan with instead of guesses, and Chris is building his Mid-Atlantic calendar right now. Call him direct at 215-267-1170 or the Erdenheim office at 215-267-1155.

Do we have to sign a managed services contract?

No. Every engagement stands on its own with a fixed fee. Many clients start with one or two and decide later whether they want Activity3 to run their IT day to day. Some never do, and that is fine.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes, within the assumptions printed on the scope of work, such as user count and number of locations. If something changes the scope, we tell you before doing the work and put it in writing. Anything outside scope is only done by written change request at $125 an hour.

We already have an IT person. Is this for us?

Often more so. These engagements give your IT person specialist backup and an outside view of what they have been too busy to get to. The findings are written so your own staff can act on them.

What happens after the readout?

You own every deliverable. If you want help fixing what we find, Chris brings you a fixed-price quote from the same findings. If you would rather handle it in house, you have a ranked list to work from.

We have more than 75 users or several locations.

Tell Chris. The published prices fit most companies of 25 to 75 users at one or two locations. Larger footprints get the same scope with a price adjusted before you sign, never after.
